Recent Projects:

Penbrook Revitalization, Inc. won a grant from "Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Fresh Paint Day" which provided paint and supplies that gave PRI the opportunity to revitalize a structure in Penbrook with a fresh coat of paint. The structure selected belongs to Sal Pantano, a decorated Korean veteran, and was built in 1900 on one of Penbrook's oldest farms. Sal's family, neighbors and friends as well as local community organizations volunteered their time over three weekends in September 2011 under the well-organized direction of PRI coordinator Carmen Gonzales. Our thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this project a huge success! We later learned from Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful that the PRI project was one of the top two in the state! Good work, Everyone!
